Who We Are

Jeff

Our president, Jeff, loves to fly. He grew up in and around airplanes, working with his father as both a “copilot” and an “apprentice” AME. He gained valuable industry insight and experience throughout his life and is now passing as much as he can onto the next generation of pilots.

His first official job in aviation was as a dock-hand in NWO. There he earned his float rating and discovered the incredible freedom that floats offer. However, he decided to shift focus and became a flight instructor.

As an instructor, Jeff was able to learn how to teach clearly and effectively. He was also able to witness the frustration that accompanied so many pilots being dragged along in the training process for more money than they ever imagined it would cost.

In the midst of instructing, his family started to grow, and he made the decision to shift once again to Aerial Application. It’s a decision he will never regret as it provides the right environment to exercise and improve his piloting skills.

Jeff is the check pilot and head instructor for the Ag Course.

Christian

Christian brings a strong foundation in aviation, having earned his Private and Commercial licenses in his own plane with Jeff as his instructor.

As part of the first group of students to complete the Aerial Application course at KTSA, he gained valuable hands-on experience in the field. He was able to directly apply his training to every season he's flown as an ag pilot.

Over the years, Christian has worked closely with Jeff, refining his skills and expanding his knowledge of aerial application technique. This experience and his passion for aviation enable him to instruct effectively in the training programs.

He offers valuable support to students working to achieve their aviation goals. He’s quite knowledgeable, but is quick to admit when something is beyond his limits. He’ll either find the answer, or introduce you to the person who knows it.
